The month of October brought a series of three league matches for Al Ettifaq, all of which posed major challenges for the team. Although the results were not ideal, our goalkeeper Marek Rodák once again confirmed his qualities and became a key figure in difficult moments, a fact reflected in his individual statistics.

Clash with the Stars of Al Hilal

Al Ettifaq’s October schedule opened with a home match against the star-studded Al Hilal side. Despite the presence of world-class players such as Darwin Núñez, Malcom, Rúben Neves and Milinković-Savić, and despite a heavy 0–5 defeat, Marek Rodák was named Al Ettifaq’s Man of the Match. According to Sofascore, he received a rating of 7.4, recording an excellent seven saves against the opponent’s powerful attack.

Consistent Form and Another Recognition

In the second match of the month, Al Ettifaq faced Al Fateh. Al Ettifaq played their third October fixture away at Al Hazem, where the match ended in a 2–2 draw. In a game in which, according to the ratings, the entire team lacked their best day, they still managed to secure at least a valuable point.
